SWS Capital Berhad Formerly known as UDS Capital Berhad ("SWSCAP") was incorporated in Malaysia on 28 Dec 1999 as a private limited company and subsequently converted to public limited company on 21 Mar 2000. It commenced operations on 1 Dec 2003 as an investment holding company and listed in the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 15 Mar 2004.

The current authorised share capital of UDS is RM100,000,000 comprising 200,000,000 shares of RM0.50 each. 125,505,500 shares are currently issued and fully-paid-up.

The business activities of the Group can be classified into:

• Manufacturing and trading of wood-based furniture, fixtures, polyethylene and pneumatic fasteners
• Manufacturing and sale of upholstered furniture (settees and sofas)
• Log house manufacturing and construction
