Sin Wee Seng Industries Sdn Bhd (SWS) was founded by Mr Neo Tiam Hock in 1965. Back then, it was known as Kim Seng Sofa. With a headcount of only 6, the company was involved in trading and manufacturing until the 1980's, when it ventured into untort export.

Tapping the global market was a brilliant route and business grew rapidly. As business expanded and the need to serve global customers with care and thought increased, Mr Neo handed the task of manufacturing and marketing internationally to his son, Mr Neo chee Kiat, who was groomed since young by his father.

With the expertise of the Senior Neo and enthusiasm of the Junior Neo, SWS sofa products now penetrate major markets such as Japan, Europe, Taiwan, Australia, the Middle East, South Africa and Asian region.

Today, SWS is sprawling 125,000-sq.feet manufacturing facility with a work force of 200 workers. A large extent of its success is due to its corporate philosophy of Total Customer Satisfaction, competitive pricing and integrity in business dealings and transactions. SWS adheres to principle of "Continuous Design Improvement and Quality Control" in its bid to keep abreast with changing consumer taster.
